I’m sure it is disappointing not to win–or place! I’m so glad you’re able to have the experience of competing, though! I award you “First Place Adult Gold” in writing about the competition!

Aww, thanks! I can see how bad results might make for a more interesting blog, as well, so there’s a silver lining to everything, right?
